To address the problem, you spend a week with your tree trimming tools including 3 saws, 4 wedges, 5 large bolts (used as wedges), 1 old water ski rope used to guide the branch away from the rabbit hutch down below, a 30 year old power cable salvaged from a construction site (amazingly never used until now, but you knew you would need it at some point - and you were right!), and your '83 GMC to finish the job that the saws, wedges, and water ski rope - and mother nature - couldn't.
No doubt about it - Ft. Smiley is officially the red neck tree trimmer of Cache Valley. Anyone need some branches removed before winter?!
