Brandon Mull, the author of the Fablehaven series, The Candy Shop War, and PINGO came to Edith Bowen Labratory School (the elementary school where I am interning and where Gwen goes to school). He is one of Britt's favorite authors so she skipped middle school to see him. He is AMAZING! After speaking to the school during an assembly he spent the rest of the day in classrooms holding writing workshops with the students. His advice for writers: read and create. We are looking forward to his last book in the Fablehaven series due out in March 2010.
